How to add Dangerous Goods

Adding Dangerous Goods to the System

- Download the template for bulk import of dangerous goods.

- When bulk importing data, an additional column will appear for identifying dangerous goods.

Template Column Usage

- Users can either:

- Fill all columns as per the template, or

- Only use the column specifically for dangerous goods.

Column Details

- After downloading the template, users will see the usual format, but with an added column to indicate whether an item is classified as dangerous goods or not.

- This column can contain the following values:

- `1` or `0` (representing Yes or No for dangerous goods, respectively).

- The column can also be left blank, which will be treated as `No` (or False).

- Valid inputs are:

   - `1` for dangerous goods,

   - `0` for non-dangerous goods,

   - Or Excel’s default `TRUE` and `FALSE` values.

 

Input Validation

- Valid inputs include:

- `1` or `0`,

- `TRUE` or `FALSE`.

- Any other entries will not be counted.

 

Further Automation and Integration

- Once the dangerous goods column is filled and imported correctly, users can also:

- Use this information for the dwell automation.

- There is an extra checkbox available for dangerous goods classification, where the system will allow users to mark Yes or No.
